Microdermabrasion

Mechanical removal of the uppermost horny layer smooths the complexion, refines enlarged pores and improves how well the skin takes up skincare – with no downtime at all.

Gentle mechanical skin renewal

Microdermabrasion is one of the established mechanical treatments in skincare: it can be controlled precisely, and many people find their complexion finer after the very first session.

A fine abrasive head removes the uppermost horny layer in a controlled way. This can support the skin's natural regeneration and visually refine the pores; many people find their complexion fresher afterwards. The skin then takes up active ingredients particularly well – ideal in combination with a matching active-ingredient skincare routine.

  • For a dull complexion, fine lines and enlarged pores
  • May soften slight unevenness and superficial irregularities
  • As a rule without downtime
  • As a single treatment or as a course

Frequently asked questions

Is microdermabrasion painful?
The treatment is usually described as a pleasant, slightly tingling sensation. How it feels varies from person to person.
When do results become visible?
Many people find the skin smoother and fresher immediately after the treatment. As a course, the effect may deepen from session to session; the result is individual.
How often should microdermabrasion be carried out?
An interval of three to four weeks is a frequent choice. We match the right rhythm to your skin.
Who is microdermabrasion not suitable for?
It is not suitable in cases of acute inflammation, open areas of skin, sunburn or very sensitive skin. In these cases we advise you on gentler alternatives.
What should be borne in mind after the treatment?
Mild skincare and consistent sun protection are sensible for a few days; sauna, sunbeds and additional peels should be avoided for a short time.
What side effects are possible?
Temporary redness, a slight feeling of tightness and increased sensitivity to light are possible, and rarely small skin haemorrhages or pigment changes. We explain everything to you personally before the treatment.
